Bill Osburn

Bill Osburn, President, has a BSBA-Finance degree from the University of Missouri - St. Louis. He began his career as an insurance agent in 1983. After four years, he liked the claims environment enough that he became a staff auto liability adjuster. From there, he moved into the property liability department. Property liability adjusting evolved into property damage estimating as a field property and liability adjuster, including fatalities. His leadership abilities advanced him to the Assistant Branch Manager position of a local independent adjusting company.

After four years, he incorporated OSBURN CLAIMS in 1993. He personally has handled wind, hail, water, fire, hurricane, ice and flood claims as a field adjuster up to total losses of $3,000,000.00. Clients ranged from local regional companies to national carriers and public entities. In 2004 he supervised field adjusters for hurricanes: Charlie, Francis, Jean and Ivan in Florida.

He has worked as a Desk Adjuster, Field Adjuster, Inside Examiner, Supervisor, Assistant Branch Manager and Adjuster Trainer in various capacities. 2012 has brought forth the establishment of OSBURN CLAIMS in Florida handling property and casualty claims throughout the state.

John Bearden

John Bearden, Director of Operations, has a BS degree in Communications and Management from Southeast Missouri State University. In 1983 he started his claims career in Personal Lines claims with Aetna Life & Casualty working multi-line claims consisting of property, auto, and liability claims as a resident adjuster.

After receiving promotions and job assignments across the U.S. during a ten year period, John moved to St. Paul Fire & Marine Insurance Company, where he worked all lines of commercial claims for over ten years. In 2001 John began using his years of expertise in the independent adjusting field handling catastrophe claims. His years of experience as a Resident Adjuster, Claim Technical Specialist, Claims Examiner and Claim Unit Manager, involving all lines of insurance, makes him a valuable member of our team as Director of Operations.
